With access to less-pressured waters, this full-day adventure offers the chance to hook cobia, amberjack, and more — perfect for anglers who want to maximize their time offshore.

When the federal season opens, we head 70 miles offshore and beyond to reach the deep reefs and ledges where American red snapper thrive. These hard-fighting, delicious fish are a favorite among serious anglers — and this trip gives you the best shot at filling the cooler.

The federal season for red snapper runs June 1, 2025 through September 15, 2025.

This trip allows extra time to explore multiple spots, adjust to the tides, and enjoy a relaxed but productive day on calm waters — ideal for families and anglers looking for more action without heading offshore.

Shelling & Lunch Combo Trip
Discover the natural beauty of Southwest Florida with a relaxing cruise to the pristine beaches of Cayo Costa or North Captiva, known for world-class shelling and stunning scenery. Spend time collecting shells, strolling the shore, or simply soaking up the island atmosphere.
After beachcombing, enjoy a stop at one of the area’s popular waterfront restaurants for a laid-back island lunch before cruising back through the local waterways — keep your eyes out for dolphins, manatees, and seabirds along the way!

In addition to our charter offerings, Captain Chris Kreis is available for freelance work across Southwest Florida and beyond. With a USCG 100 Ton Master License and nearly a decade of professional maritime experience, Chris offers:
- Relief & Delivery Captain Services – Yacht relocation, vessel delivery, or owner-assist passages.
- Private Instruction – On-the-water boating lessons for new or returning boat owners.
- Electronics & Systems Consulting – Hands-on troubleshooting or setup for marine electronics, rigging, and onboard systems.
- Vessel Management – Routine maintenance oversight and consulting for private owners.

We must have caught 40+ fish.
My family had an amazing time! Chris was on time, super friendly, and great with the kids. Very helpful and made sure everyone had fun. They caught tarpon, snook, trout, and lady fish! Chris was an excellent guide throughout the entire trip. He demonstrated over a decade of local expertise and was really knowledgeable and attentive to all of our questions. On top of that he was promptly baiting hooks and adjusting tackle for each situation. He was assertive yet very patient and respectful of skill levels.
